Brigg Power Station

Brigg is a 40MW power station generating renewable energy from straw, miscanthus and woodchips.  The station's output is sufficient to power around 86,000 homes.

Brigg Power Station is a base-load asset available to generate 24/7-365 and is not subject to the vagaries of available wind and solar resource.

Operations and maintenance services are provided by Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S under a long term contract.

Management services for the station are provided by Melton Renewable Energy UK Limited, building upon its 20+ years experience in the renewable energy sector.
